memberAttribute

Syntax

memberAttribute(memberKey, variable, groupname="")

• memberKey - a member key, normally an email address .
• variable - the name of a member variable defined in this site.
• groupname - optional, the group in which the member variable belongs.

Examples

memberAttribute("dbayly@udena.ch", "personalinfo.name"

Semantics

memberAttribute returns the value of a member variable, for a given member and member variable. If the variable is grouped, then the groupname must be specified. Builtin member variables may be interrogated, as long as they are defined in the website. The function is useful because it can be used in reports, queries, updaters whose attribute Of is not memebrs.
