Label Lookup Global

Label lookup is useful when a value stored needs to be represented in to the end user in different ways in different contexts; for example if a site is multi-lingual and you wish to report values in words from each language. The global is simply a way of storing a single lookup table of strings and their replacements in one named location.

The value list of a Label Lookup Global variable is managed differently to emphasize this, see Pre-defined Values.

When a global variable is used as a label lookup variable; its value may include legal HTML tags except form, input, select and button. These are most useful when the label lookup is used for a radio or checkbox menu rendering.
