How does addedValues stack up when conducting a search? After all, this was one of the purposes of addedvalues. We'll let the numbers do the talking for themselves. Following is a table of actual times measured running addedValues on a G3/400 under OS 9 and Frontier 9.
Searches were conducted using one single criteria (say name), two criteria (say name & city), 2 criteria, one of which being a multiple choice (picking 2 regions from a menu) and 3 criteria. Search criteria were tested repeatedly and also through substitution, always generating results similar to those shown below.
