Preferences

Most preferences are pre-set and probably never need changing. Power users may find useful elements to work with; these are well documented on the preference page - read them.

Here we will only point out a few items most people may need to deal with at some point:

• Do you track recently changed pages? If so, the second section will be of interest to you...
• Do you need to use WYSIWYG in your data input forms? Or do you want it off ? Then the fourth section, dealing with form preferences allows you to control this (and other components)
• How many default hits do you want in a search results page? This is editable in every form, but you can give a default value in the reports preferences.
• Do you handle multiple languages? If so, the third section allows you to define which set of standard codes you prefer using.
